Post-Production
Rough Cut Edit

In the rough cut edit, I have music included which I won't have in the final film because I decided it doesn't fit very well.
The music will also start and finish at different times and the volume will be different on the final film. The volume will be louder during some scenes and quite during others. The music will also start a little later after Frank wakes up.
The foley sounds need to be added as well. Footsteps will be added for final film as well as the final scream will be post recorded.

For the title of my film, I've edited the text to become a video. It expresses the title more and could be interpreted as possession because its like the video has taken over the title.

I have also made the title fade away before the film starts to suggest there is mystery in the film.

I added a blink effect to the film when I added the first person camera viewpoint to add realism and to let the audience feel what the character is feeling and put them in his shoes.

At the start of the film, I used bright, sunlight colours to show the audience that there is nothing wrong with the couple and that their life is great. After the male character wakes, I changed the colours and saturation to make the surroundings darker and gloomy to show the audience that something bad is going to happen and that the atmosphere has changed.

I was the director and filmed of my film which meant I had to make sure what I was telling the actors connected with what I was filming and the position in was in. In these photos above, I took the shots from the same positions even though they're from different parts of the film but it shows the deep contrast from before the haunting to after the haunting. I also made sure the actors expressions were different to express the change in atmosphere.

I have added small black pauses in the film to add suspension and mystery for the audience so they question what may happen next.

All my footage is located within a folder named 'Film Footage' which is in my 'Unit 41' folder.
