MERIT - CV Analysis Skills Gap
As a director I have a big skill gap compared to a professional director who has been working in the industry for a long time. I have coinapred James Larkin's CV to my skills to see my skills gap.

-
Creativity/Range of Different Productions - I have only worked o a handful of production whereas James Larkin has worked on a very diverse range fo production. He has directed many types of different medias and shows such as film, TV , TV commercials, music adverts and even live theatre. Creativity is needed to work on such a range of different productions.
-

-
Communication/Directing Famous Actors - James has been in film production for years so he's developed his skills and this is why he has good communication skills, meaning he is able to direct lots of different types of actors and even well known, famous people such as Tom Jones, whereas I have only just started studying media so I am comfortable only directing friends and starting off with the basic skills.

-
Practical/Directing Large Sets - My practical skills are already developing because I am a confident person and get along with most people I meet in my life making directing a much easier job. James has great practical skills as he has worked on very small sets but also huge sets with over 100 crew at one time and this is a lot of pressure.
