Test Shots

This shot I took is a test shot for a close up view of an actor falling asleep and I wanted to also test the focus of the shot with the actor's face to the background.
Setting Up The Equipment

Safety/Following Risk Assessment

I followed my risk assessment I made to stay safe when filming. An important thing I made sure was safe was the equipment being positioned in places where the actors won't be interfered, as well as placing the household items out of the way and keeping doors open so they don't keep closing by themselves when filming.

Production Processes

The actors would laugh when filming sometimes which would be the main reason we had to re-film some shots but, once we stopped laughing, the only times we'd being re-shooting is when the shots were not scary enough or up to a good enough standard that belongs in a horror film. To create the footage, I made sure what I was directing was also captured on the camera at a good quality and with unique camera angles as well as capturing the actors location to clearly show the audience where they are throughout the film.
Following Storyboard

Had to make a few changes with this scene because I couldn't use the bedroom so instead we used the landing.

Best Shots

This first clip is one of my favourites because it has a focus pull in it and it expresses the character that Paige is playing very well.

I like this shot because of the camera angles I used from the stairs up to the characters.

This clip includes a first person viewpoint and helps the audience see from a different perspective.
