| Synopsis |

 

• A short and engaging summary of the media product you are proposing. - I want to create a horror film mixed with a thriller genre to create a mini film that creates suspense and mystery. It involves a human male character who's  wife died but, he still thinks she is alive and does not realise she has passed until weird things start occurring such as her disappearing or standing for hours which is impossible. Once he finds out, the ghost starts to haunt him and terrorise him.

 

• See IMDB for examples from existing films and TV series’ - Woman in Black 2 involves a child who sees and talks to the woman in black because he thinks she is a normal person. This is what my mini film will have included in it.

• He follows the wife’s ghost into a room but she is gone when he walks in

• She is stood for hours at a time

​

• He finds out she is a ghost and this triggers the ghost to become evil and starts to haunt him - this will be near the end of the film when the horror genre is shown.

 

| Sound | - What sound elements will it contain: sound FX, atmospheric sound, music dialogue - My sound design is going to be a mixture of silence and loud sound effects that make the audience jump. For when we see the possessed woman in the background or in the distance, it will be silent until she appears and once she's in the shot, I will play creepy sounds. When she attacks the male character, I will use sound effects to scare the audience. I want the film to have a more creepy atmosphere to it than a atmosphere that is jumpy and to do this I need to add creepy, slow music.
